Presently I am a soon-to-be empty nester who is milking everything I can out of my 1/5 acre garden with the help of my husband, 19-year old son and daughter, Rufus the rabbit, and Joshua the soft shell turtle. I am currently writing for Tomato Casual and Urban Garden Casual. I also was a ghostwriter for thegreenbeanblog.com.

My expertise is supported through experience and my Bachelor in Agriculture Education with a minor in biology, chemistry, and natural resources from Purdue University. I currently am finishing up my Masters in Environmental Education, Urban Planning, and Public Health from the University of Louisville. My career path I hope will lead me into extension where I can share my vast knowledge.

Being a camera shy person I have created a alter-ego Mindar the Gardening Gnome. Presently I am working on that blog site. So if you have any agriculture or science related question please feel free to contact Mindar the Gardening Gnome and who knows you may even see her in a garden near you.
